Start high school with a plan and a direction. Early academic planning, interest building, and smart choices about involvement.
Build momentum. Course rigor, an intro to testing, and deeper exploration of interests and early college fit.
The build year. Testing strategy, campus visit guidance, and a real, balanced college list before senior year begins.
Senior-year support, guided by me and driven by your student. Your student follows my program, does the work, and brings me their questions. I give the instruction, the structure, and the feedback. Here is what is included, and where the boundaries sit:
- Two 1:1 meetings: a brainstorm and a kickoff
- Essay coaching up to two hours total, across FaceTime and email, covering the personal statement and up to two supplements. Line-level editing with my editing coach is included. Additional hours are billed at a discounted rate
- Instruction and answers as your student completes and submits their own applications
- Guidance on the activities list and the college list
- Email, video, and text support during working hours
- Two follow-up meetings during the first year of college to support the transition
- A college transition handbook to keep
One focused hour, just you and me. Bring your questions about the process, the timeline, a college list, testing, essays, or anything keeping you up at night. You leave with clear answers and clear next steps.
This is the right choice when you are not yet sure what your family needs. The free consult is a quick 15 minutes to see if we are a fit. When you want actual guidance and a plan, this is the hour that delivers it.

Need help with just one piece? Add any of these on their own. Grade-package families can add them too.
A targeted search focused on realistic, high-fit opportunities instead of random lists. We look at your student's academic profile, financial need, talents, activities, and family background to find institutional, private, local, and niche scholarships that match their story. I help them stay organized with deadlines, brainstorm strong reusable scholarship essays, and understand how scholarships interact with need-based and merit aid so there are no surprises in the offer.
For families who need the money to work and want to stop guessing which scholarships are worth the time.
Turn high school experiences into clear, powerful activity descriptions for applications and resumes. We identify the most meaningful roles, clarify impact, and translate what your student did into concise, accomplishment-based bullets. Together we build or refine a cohesive activities list and resume so leadership, initiative, and growth stand out across clubs, sports, work, service, and personal projects.
Best when your student has done a lot but it reads flat on paper.
One-on-one coaching so your student feels prepared, confident, and authentic in admissions, scholarship, athletic, or arts interviews. We practice common and school-specific questions, refine stories that highlight character and fit, and work on body language, pacing, and follow-up so they make a strong, relaxed impression.
Add this when an admissions, scholarship, athletic, or arts interview is on the calendar.
Dedicated coaching on the essays that carry the most weight. Your student gets:
The personal statement: three hours total, covering a brainstorm session, up to two revisions, and a final polish
Two short supplements, such as a Why Us and an Additional Information response, with one hour of dedicated revision time on each
This is for families who want deeper, focused essay help beyond what a grade package includes.
A clear, organized recruiting plan so student-athletes can confidently connect with college coaches at the right levels across NCAA Division I, II, and III, while staying within recruiting rules and timelines. Using Dave Morris's College Athletic Advisor resume and email templates, I guide students in building a polished athletic resume and professional outreach messages that highlight their academic and athletic strengths. I also walk families through eligibility and recruiting expectations at each division so they understand how contact, communication, and visits work.
For student-athletes who want to play in college and need a plan to reach the right coaches.
